Dark fruit, mulberry pie or something like that, dark chocolate and some nutty vanilla oak. Touch of Margaret River dust and leafiness, but pretty ripe and chocolaty. Medium to full bodied with smooth supple tannins and a good hit of flavour - excellent balance and shape for a wine at this price point. Drinks really well now, but no hurry. Could have perhaps a little more wahay through the back palate, but a thoroughly lovely wine.
