96 Points – Huon Hooke, The Age Digital Edition: Wine Guide, 30 May 2017
Indulged Yourself. This beautiful wine is neckand-neck with the more expensive Reserve chardonnay this year, which makes it relatively good value. A fresh, youthful bouquet. Intense, refined and taut, with refreshing acidity. A striking wine. (13 per cent alcohol; screw-cap .) Ageing? Drink now to 11 years. Food idea Barbecued shellfish . 2014 Xanadu Reserve Cabernet Sauvignon
98 points – Ray Jordan, The Western Australian, West Weekend, May 2017
There’s real power and style in this outstanding Cabernet. Glenn Goodall sources most of the fruit from Wilyabrup and Treeton. It’s highly scented but it is the palate that stamps
its class. Power and structure with firmish but very fine chalky tannins, silky fine oak and superb fruit harnessed perfectly. A wine with a very long future.

2015 Xanadu Reserve Chardonnay
98 Points – Ray Jordan, The Western Australian, West Weekend, May 2017
Another outstanding chardonnay from winemaker Glenn Goodall and Xanadu. All barrel-fermented with 30 per cent new French oak. It’s allowed to ferment naturally and then the lees stirred but there is no malolactic fermentation. Remarkably complex aromas of minerals and light char with a slice of grapefruit. The palate has a savoury creaminess with a nice, tight minerally core. Keen and edgy through to a long finish. Super wine.
